We're Hiring! - Indigenous Summer Internship

June 13, 2018

Hello!

We are currently seeking an Indigenous student to join us here at FED for an exciting summer internship!

We are looking for someone to support the team in our next phase of the Learning Garden - an Indigenous food & medicinal plant garden!

Some key responsibilities include curating plant selection, assisting in workshop and interpretation design, community building, curating social media content and aiding with the installation process.

Here at FED, we value taking initiative and approaching challenges with a positive, can-do attitude. Strong communication skills and a passion for gardening, food and sustainability are also a must.

We are a team who is hard-working and passionate about creating a regional centre for education about food growing and food sustainability in urban spaces.

See the full job description here and feel free to share with anyone interested!

All the best,

Holly Dumbarton, Project Coordinator
