We're Hiring!

The Food Eco District (FED) is growing quickly, with a ton of exciting new projects on the go. We are continuing to shape and support a vibrant and distinct community that showcases local leaders in food sustainability and enhances public spaces with an abundance of edible gardens. Our team contributes to the conversation about urban agriculture, and helps to increase food security on Vancouver Island through our My FED Farm program, where we provide free start-up food garden kits and educational resources to those who otherwise would not have access to these materials.

In 2021, our focus will be to advance the development of small, urban farms within the city; increase food security through My FED Farm, and start exploring social enterprise opportunities for our organization.

To build and maintain the momentum of our non-profit, we are on the search for a new Project Manager! Part project manager, part member and community relations guru and part urban agriculture advocate, this role requires someone who enjoys wearing many hats and has a real passion for food and sustainability.
